Choosing a treatment facility for yourself or someone you care about is not easy, or a choice to take lightly. That’s why we’d like you to learn more about Coral Bay Recovery before making your decision.
What Makes Coral Bay Different?
Our experience allows us to help you develop a true understanding of the problem—seeing where your past attempts have fallen short, identifying unproductive thoughts and patterns of behavior, and establishing new, healthier ones. Armed with this personal insight, and an arsenal of new coping tools and skills, you’ll be ready to begin experiencing change. All it takes is the willingness to do something different!
Whether this is your first time receiving intensive outpatient treatment, or you’ve made several attempts at mental health or addiction recovery, Coral Bay has something to offer: Real treatment. We’re smaller, so you won’t find a cookie-cutter, factory approach to helping clients achieve lasting, positive change. We get to know each client personally, because clients are people, not numbers. In fact, clients often tell us how much they appreciate our small, “family-like” atmosphere.
Coral Bay offers something that’s unique in the IOP space: Caseload-oriented treatment. Clients attend group together with the same therapist each time, so everyone gets to know each other, and the therapist gets to know each client, too–maximizing the effectiveness of treatment. At most larger IOPs, clients attend groups on different days, at different times, and with different peers–virtually eliminating the power of group therapy that allows for that “magical” connection that fosters support, insight and growth. Furthermore, our groups are facilitated by LICENSED THERAPISTS, not “group facilitators” or unlicensed interns.
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is where the rubber meets the road, especially after the “protective bubble” of residential or inpatient treatment, such as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). In IOP, people who are early in recovery have the freedom—and the temptations—of being out in the world on their own. This is where the guidance of a trained and licensed mental health professional and the support of their peer group can make the difference between success and failure.
If detoxification services are needed, we can help arrange them at a top facility that specializes in safe, medically managed care that’s under the supervision of a medical doctor who specializes in addiction treatment. Then, when the client is ready for the next step in his or her recovery journey, we’ll help with that as well! Whether it’s detox, a residential or a partial hospitalization program first—or directly to Coral Bay Recovery for outpatient treatment—we can help. Regardless of the path, we’ll make sure that it’s the best one for you, your family, and your health.
Intensive Outpatient Programs Tailored to Your Substance Abuse and Mental Health Needs
Once a client realizes that their problems have gotten to the point where they interfere with their normal functioning, and they’re not fulfilling their obligations in various areas of their life, it’s time to act. And coming to treatment is the first step.
An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is where the rubber meets the road, especially after the “protective bubble” of residential or inpatient treatment, such as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). In IOP, people who are early in recovery from addiction and co-occurring disorders or primary mental health issues have the freedom—and the temptations—of being out in the world on their own. This is where the guidance of a trained and licensed mental health professional and the support of a peer group can make the difference between success and failure.
At Coral Bay Recovery, we have two programs: One for Addiction/Substance Use issues and Co-Occurring Disorders, and another for Primary Mental Health issues, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and others.

Coral Bay Recovery is an out-of-network provider for many major insurance providers, and we are in-network with:
Detox/Residential/Partial Hospitalization Treatment
Whether you need to break free of the misuse of alcohol or other drugs like heroin, pain killers (e.g., Oxycontin or Percocet), benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Valium), or others, we can connect you with one of our outstanding detox partners to ensure that the withdrawal process is as safe and comfortable as possible. We know how critical this time is in your recovery process and our goal is to make the process smooth and successful.
Once it’s safe for you to transition to a lower level of care, we can assist you in taking the next step—whether it’s to a residential or partial hospitalization program, or directly to Coral Bay. Of course, the decision on the best course of action for you will be made in conjunction with you, your family, your physician and our clinical team.
